For total transparency,after it set me back twice to same spot I tried it again yesterday and it did in fact move forward and I am going into year 4 week 1. This will be first game I actually “play” live and not sim so we’ll see if any issues happen

Sorry but there are no workarounds. Doing an offline 32 team control, coach firing off. And it still just glitched out in Year 2028. This game is absolute trash. One of the more annoying and frustrating experiences I've ever had with a video game.

It depends when you setup the 32 team control. You have to do it as soon as your franchise begins. You cannot go hire scouts, or do anything for that first team you picked, or it will die somewhere down the line.

Does anybody know why i cant create a 32nd user profile with the vikings? I keep getting an error.

This is for offline franchise.

So, i created a new save and skipped the seahawks, creating all 31 other profiles. Then, i went back to seattle and it worked on the first try. No idea if the order of the profile creation has something to do with it or if its luck, but it worked for me.

I can also confirm that is the solution. Every time I set up 32 team control I have to stop after number 31 then save then go back and add the 32nd. Otherwise it crashes at no.32 and you have to redo it all again.

Yes, although just to clarify for others I didn't back out of my franchise, I only created an additional save file. I originally skipped over the Seahawks when going in alphabetical order and then made them the last user team I created. I've only attempted to create all 32 teams twice - once going in alphabetical order and experiencing the glitch while trying to create the Vikings last, and once which bypassed the bug by creating the Seahawks last.

I’m done with this game. The OLine just refuses to block sometimes. They let defenders go right past them and basically just stand there. Impossible to get a running game going at times.
