So what works for OFFLINE CFM's? Do you need to do 32 team control and no coach firing to avoid crashes in offline?

That seems to be the only workaround. If you go in solo or something else, your save file is just a ticking timebomb after 3-4 years.

From my testing, it seems like you have to create all of the other coaches the moment your new franchise begins. I have tried adding the extra teams after a few weeks, or after doing stuff like hiring scouts, and they have all died even with the 32 team control.

I've been doing constant trades up and down with 2 years of drafting and no issues.

I went 32 team control until 2025. Then went to one team control since. So far, so good. I'm in 2027. No idea if it will stay working.

I feel bad for him because he is SCREWED and the game is over for him. All those hours.

Guess the only thing is he holds a little weight in the community. Hope he reaches out to EA to say something.
