Great news, thanks for posting.

I don't really have any issues with M23, but my draft is fast approaching, so if I do have a concern, it is the draft revert.

Hopefully "as soon as possible" is very soon.

Sounds like they are trying to be more proactive, so can't complain about that.

Would be nice, with server side updates, if they'd just keep updates/improvements/fixes rolling.

And what about the franchise crash/delete of your franchise file in years 5-8???

This is a monster that has spanned across Madden 21, 22 and now 23.

Give them credit for the communication and the fixing. Easy to bash them but it's a good game and will get better with polish.

I'll give them credit when they release a game that doesn't have mode halting bugs/crashes.

The media gives them enough credit with "a step in the right direction" posts.

Normally, it is this, but this year, I think it's different.

This year Clint came out before the game was released and said this year is

the best launch year because it was nearly bug free.

I don't think there will be proclamations like that in the future.

I will state that I've been very fortunate to not have one crash and wasn't

affected with the interception slider issue.

Since the update, the game on the field is playing well besides not many

penalties being called(on default AP) and not many center/qb snap miscues.

If your game is crashing, shame on EA.

These updates are absolutely top priority and good on them for acknowledging and fixing it. Hopefully, at some point, they will acknowledge the smaller issues like no QB/RB injuries during played games and roll out a fix for that.

If this next patch really works, I’ll get the game.

I mean. You all feel free to post your bad experiences if you have them, but strictly on the field I think that “most polished Madden game” assertion actually approaches some level of truth.

Now, the things that had to be done to achieve that are debatable (simplified and smaller playbooks, backseating match coverage, lighter presentation package), but I haven’t endured any major operational faults with this game between the white lines, especially compared to Madden 22 which for me was a disaster. Which makes what’s happening away from the field all the more frustrating.

On the field it's a good game with irritating legacy issues still lingering. Off the field it's a mess and an utter embarrassment even for EA.

On the field it is my second favorite Madden ever. Gameplay is so damn smooth. But penalties and injuries are simply not what I see on Sundays. Not even close.

Off the field I am enjoying franchise mode a ton.

They are close….close to making a great game of console football. But there are some lingering issues they gotta focus on.

Give them credit for having a game that was unplayable for 1.5 months with 0 communication or accountability until today? What?

I was saying 3 weeks ago they needed to be posting things like this. Even when the initial patch was released, they really didn't realize the draft bug was still an issue?
