Not a fan of that at all.

I'm skeptical of the validity or importance of said sources. EA won't do anything about this until there is something impacting the bottom line.

Honestly, the most frustrating thing for me in M23 franchise mode (PS5) is how slow it is to navigate the GUI/menus. And because everything is buried in sub-menus now it is just soooo slow. Even compared to M20 the speed in navigating the menus is night and day. And then there are always a new set of frustrations with any Madden that we all deal with because otherwise we wouldn't have an NFL game to play. Lineups resetting all the time is a pain in the ***.

I'll believe it when I see it. M23 was probably the last Madden I'll buy unless EA finally makes good on their promises.

I do imagine senior-level producers like Seann Graddy are on multi-year contracts that have, among other things, performance reviews and bonuses tied to Metacritic scores, which have been sub-70 for three cycles now (and we can thank #FixFranchiseMode greatly for that drop)

How long has Graddy been running the show? He/his top team might be up for extensions.... or not.

Oh Boyyyyyy!!!

To my Operations sports OG's. remember like 10 years ago the Mods would come out with pitchfork if you was critical of Madden🤔

Fast forward to know and EA is still doing this stuff to their fanbase and gotten worse with the franchise BS
And the mods not trippen this time even they are low key tired of EA mess👀

I always had hope for a Madden comeback because I was EA sports games since I was puppy I was basically at Fortnite age.

I stop buying Madden after 22 because I could tired of waisting 70$ every year and shelving it after a few months
Too many good games out there that's worth it

EA says they read the forums but they never do nothing big or take a risk about it

I'm not for anyone to lose their jobs but you must chop off the damage tree and grow another one with the right seed meaning it's time to blow everything up from the top to that person that's was a former Lineman but still struggling to have good line play like 2k8

For them to say the franchise mode is close to where it needs to be is a scary future ahead and what's even more disappointing is football guys working this game using next gen technology with old gen outcomes

They say money makes you blind but I say being greedy makes you don't care that's even worse

Sad part you can't trust EA word when it comes to Madden🤦

Been here since 2002, this never happened.

Re: MADDEN 24 A “MAKE OR BREAK” RELEASE FOR MANAGEMENT

Hard for me to believe anything that comes out of EA's mouth. They've earned absolutely zero trust over the years. While I do think next gen gameplay on the field is in a decent place, especially relative to where the series was 2006 and on, the lack of polish in all aspects has led to the game simply not being as good as it should be.

I don't need EA to reinvent the wheel either. I just want every feature in the game as of right now to work right, I want the CPU to utilize all tools in the game, and I want AI logic on and off the field to finally get touched. Why does the CPU still have terrible playbook limitations? Why is their timeout logic so elementary when modders were able to adjust it and make it better in 1 sitting?

For every step forward the gameplay takes, it's the little things like penalties not working, the AI not calling timeouts late in the game and instead letting time run out just nullify it.

Fix what is in the game, bring next gen to the PC, and then maybe I'll actually have a little bit more faith in EA again. I had a boost in faith when they brought the game to next gen and I saw the gameplay was actually tuned to be a bit more grounded and authentic feeling, but I lost a lot of that faith with the host of issues that have appeared or remained in the series since.

Just because Madden 23 gameplay was the best under the frostbite engine doesn't mean the gameplay was actually good. Frostbite engine is horrible and the physics in Madden have been laughable since Madden 16. Changing the developers won't help. They have a terrible engine and code.

Re: MADDEN 24 A “MAKE OR BREAK” RELEASE FOR MANAGEMENT

With the current state, I continue to wonder just how possible it could be for a significant studio to back a Maximum Football or start from scratch to build a customizable game. I cannot be convinced that video football players want the NFL game exclusively and not get behind a game that allows for the player to be creative and customize the each experience.

I know that it must be impossible because it isn't and won't ever happen.
