It used to be, not last year though. If it is the way it used to be then tomorrow would be the day but I don't think that's going to be the case.

Last year EA opted to move early access to the same day as Deluxe edition release. Will that continue or will they move it back to when it used to be? Feels like they would make more money moving it back.

Source on the ea play trial? The Ea trial started 10am est for pga tour the day before deluxe edition released. Would’ve thought it would be the same for Madden.

Just a guess based on release times on the xbox store, but last year the deluxe edition and trial started at 10AM so that's really good to hear.

I am 99.9% sure early access will be the same day as the deluxe edition release, same as it was last year. Otherwise the de-incentivize buying the deluxe version.

However, I did like it when the trial was available the weekend before release since I am really only able to game Friday nights as per agreement with the wife.

It's going to take everything in me to not pay 40% more for the game to play a few days early. You can wait until Friday NoleFan....you can do it!

Haha wait…. Let me rephrase. I can game on other nights but Friday nights are my nights where I can say “get lost”, not be bothered with the kids, can’t be asked to “fix” anything, do chores etc. etc. Her night is Tuesday (she picked it)

Just do the EA play trial. EA play is only $10 for the month and you get a discount on the game. $62 instead of $69. So you basically spend $3 more to play the game early as opposed to $20 more for the deluxe edition

I have it installed on my Series X but haven’t purchased it yet. When the EA Trial goes live am I ready to launch it? Never done the pre-install bit…
