Auto Generated Draft Class Issue

Sorry I know I am a little late to the party. What exactly is the issue with auto generated draft classes? I know they are working on fixing whatever it is but I was trying to figure out exactly what was happening but keep finding bits and pieces

QB & OL body types. OL are skinny. QB (maybe just strong arm archetype) are chunky. Doesn't affect gameplay. Not aware of any other bugs in the auto-generated classes.

Basically the body types are messed up, and even if you edit them it doesn't save.

I drafted two players in my first season, the QB has skinny arms and looks ridiculous. The DT is 6'3 310 pounds and is shirt and skinny.

Absolutely ridiculous, and is hindering many from starting their franchises. Mines on hold.

Waited to buy for the first time in my life (buying at launch since 1991) after the last 2 years created Franchise issues for my dad and I and made it unplayable until January. Looking like I made the right decision more and more every day. It will probably get fixed once the game drops to $30 or less. If this is the only NFL game for the foreseeable future, I will definitely be doing the same from now on unless the 10 hour trial is flawless and immensely improved in Franchise Mode.

EA forums claim they are working on the issue, but no timetable. Hope it's soon, or I will just let my sons have it.

This is my last year with Madden as College comes out next summer.

Unfortunately it's for all types.

There is a work around, but you would have to edit every player in the draft class to ensure their body types are correct. Spoils it cause you will know every players draft position.

If QB and offensive lineman are all that are affected couldn’t you just update only that position group? Could you update them post draft otherwise?

It’s unfortunate but if it’s as simple as editing 2 position groups I’ll just tape paper on one half my tv so I cant see the ratings.

I’ve posted this info in a detailed thread somewhere in this forum. Only QBs and Kickers are affected now. Rest of the positions are ok. Unfortunately the two broken positions can’t be edited (sliders broke), but ratings can be lowered so that they don’t get drafted and won’t appear in your game.

I’ve posted this info in a detailed thread somewhere in this forum. Only QBs and Kickers are affected now. Rest of the positions are ok. Unfortunately the two broken positions can’t be edited (sliders broke), but ratings can be lowered so that they don’t get drafted and won’t appear in your game.

It seems a bit better. I checked on my last class, and all QB's under 230 were good. I've resorted to bumping all over 230 down to not be drafted and increased a few weights to get some bigger QB's without the gut issue.

Check all QBs and Kickers and edit ratings down. All other positions are ok. 10

Thought of something to work around the fat QBs and Kickers. Before advancing to Week 1, set the QB and Kicker Draft class Strength to Strong or Very Strong. That way if you have to “erase” a couple of players, there will still be some viable ones in there.

Just a thought. I will probably be rolling with that so I can play my 1st season of my franchise.

Is it confirmed that the glitch is no longer affecting olineman? They are no longer appearing as skinny?
