Deebo Package?

Is there a way to actually use Deebo in the Deebo package in franchise? When I try in game it just uses two RB and I can’t sub him in.

Yes it won’t let me put a WR in the formation.

Interesting you posted this. I've played against the 49ers a few times and they've lined up in this. Not once have I actually seen deebo in the backfield. They must have messed it up for this year.

Deebo Package?

Unlike Madden 23, Gun - Deebo Package now places HB1 at the left tailback by default. There’s now a right stick package substitution for Gun - Deebo Package which substitutes WR1 for HB1, which will achieve what you want and get Deebo Samuel into the backfield.

The CPU doesn’t use package substitutions, so the CPU won’t ever place Deebo in the backfield on its own.

The Rams have some sort of formation in the ir playbook for this. I’ve played them twice and both times saw Kupp in the backfield in a two back shotgun. None were him running, but at him lining up in the backfield was at least an interesting wrinkle.

- go to the Gun Deebo Package in play call
- use the right stick to get Deebo Samuel into the backfield
- return to coach suggestions and play the game as you normally do

That might allow you to continue to use coach suggestions but also get Deebo in the backfield? Not sure though.

I still haven’t started my franchise, so I haven’t tested yet whether using the right stick works with coach suggestions. Hoping to finally start up over the holidays.

Lol, don't thank me thank CM Hooe. It was his idea, I literally did nothing.

Glad it's working. I'm going to have to remember to set it at the beginning of each game when I finally start my franchise.
