I’ve been running 12 minutes with 20 second acceleration. Seems pretty good.

Re: Best quarter length madden 25.

10 minute quarters with 20 min accelerated clock will get you almost precisely the number of offensive snaps as simmed games. I've tested and tracked it over hundreds of games. (I'm one of those idiots who thinks they can achieve perfect parity through slider manipulation, so I keep and track stats regularly.) Simulated games in Madden 25 average about 108 plays per game. I get almost precisely that amount (on average) with 10 minute quarters and 20 minute accelerated clock.

But... the catch is that the game is generally tuned to result in realistic "scores" with only six minute quarters. So you're going to have inflated stats and scores unless you significantly modify sliders to make offense more difficult (while also reducing turnovers).

12-15 minutes depending on how long it takes you to select plays. 15 second accelerated clock is most realistic, as NFL offenses generally are set right around 15 seconds and snap between 8 and 11 seconds.

If the accelerated clock ran normally all game, 15/15 would be nearly perfect, but it stops running late in halves.

Actually accel clock does run now in last 2 minutes of halves.

I’ve been using 15 with 13 acc clock for awhile now and it gives me the perfect number of plays. I’ve also done 12/20 and 10 with no acc clock. They all give me the right number of plays. But I’m a stickler for playing 15 min quarters.

                10 min./no accel.clock
                12 min./ with 15 sec.

These work well for # of plays
