Struggling with Immersion

I know this has been shared in previous years, but I find myself struggling with immersion in the Madden Franchise. In previous years I would find myself getting so into the weeds for roster construction that I never found time to enjoy.


I've gotten better at it, but recently playing 24 I loved the gameplay, minus one glaring feature; the CPU hardly rushed against me (all-madden, 10 minute quarters). I went back to revisit 20 which was the last game I had played significantly and found the play calling was more balanced, but missing the next gen movement.


I recognize that there's only so much I can do, but have others found any other copies to be better with the playcalling but contains next gen movement?

If you are playing on console then that's your biggest obstacle. Past that you can have all the immersion you want.

For '24 try assigning the Bears playbook for teams with qbs that run often,the Giants for qbs that run some and the Titans for qbs that hardly run.

I think it generally helps some with these specific playbooks.
