Doesn't look that much different to me. The top is E3 the bottom is retail.

The top picture in the RG3 comparison shot has better textures and shadow detail compared to the bottom picture, basically the difference between Ultra and High on a PC. I think the next gen consoles will be capable of the top picture in time.
