Re: Madden NFL 15 PS4/XB1 Wishlist

Add signature styles to the players. I'm talking passing, running, catching and tackling. A thumper safety should shave a different more aggressive set of tackle animations than a pure coverage guy like Richard Sherman, who would be more conservative with his tackles. No more of this hit stick stuff. Patrick Willis will lay you out, Richard Sherman wouldn't. Ditto for receivers. Some guys attacks the ball aggressively when they catch, some just let the ball drop into their hands. Others use their body to assist with the catch. Just add more variety overall to the animations. It would help differentiate similarly rated players.

Bring back the Player Roles. In fact, just incorporate the franchise mode from Madden 2008 on the PS2 into CCM. Iron out the kinks and just give us that back. No need to reinvent the wheel. That game had training camp. Position battles and a scouting report on upcoming opponents. An option to play a "Senior Bowl", of sorts, to better gauge prospects. Just a rock solid franchise mode.

Also, please continue to work towards a more sim Madden experience. After seeing a little gameplay of Madden 15, it's evident that this new crew is steering the franchise in the right direction. The X1 & PS4 gen is already at least 5 years ahead of where the 360 & PS3 started. Madden isn't there yet, but it's an encouraging sign. The future looks much brighter with this new dev team. But as always, the proof is in the pudding.

Re: Madden NFL 15 PS4/XB1 Wishlist

Better WR/DB interaction
Tiered play calling
Players having to run on/off the field when changing personnel
Better (or actual is more like it) ball physics
Keep adding to game that makes ratings matter. Speed shouldn’t trump all

Once the basics of FB strategy/gameplay is improved:

A new passing system please…. Seriously.. please.
Trash blowing across field on windy days
More blown plays ie.. RB or QB going to wrong side on a handoff
Custom Cameras
There’s more but sure in the thread they are covered (as well as some I posted here I’m sure are)

Home field advantage could be added pretty easily by using a system similar to what NCAA used to do, Have Pre-Snap PlayArt and Receiver Icons distorted/removed in relation to the crowd noise, also when the crowd gets really rambunctious you could have the offensive team's controller vibrate like mad. This would be cool for 3rd and short situations. Also, I saw they are improving the penalties this season to include more false starts and procedural penalties in clutch situations. Just an idea.

I'd still like to see the field enlarged or the players down sized. Right now they're proportionately too large. Which could contribute to some of the lack of realism. When a player is on the ground you can see they're about 9' tall proportionately.

Its only early but in optimistic in what they have shown so far out of E3. It actually is starting to look like a next gen title. As long as they get rid of that ridiculous rag doll animation where if you get your legs taken out you seem to turn into a crash test dummy. Nice thread.

1. I've said this many times before on wish lists......Historic Teams!
Online play with Historic Teams. It doesn't matter about real names and numbers.
We can edit them with the real stuff.
Us older players want to be able to re-live some of our classic matches.
Plus it would be great to be able to see The Houston Oilers and Earl Campbell back on the field.
2. Bring back classic Controller Layout from PS2 versions.
It was the best and very intuitive.
