I believe the practice team plays with similar stats to the upcoming game.

What I meant was, do the other 31 teams using the concept of practice to give themselves xp.

I'm wondering this myself.

Supposedly on the PS3/360 the CPU teams don't practice, and thus don't earn the bonus XP to better improve their starters and backups. This then turns into an 'advantage' in the long run over CPU teams.

In my franchise on my 360 I'm in the 3rd season, and the CPU players do improve each season, but I'm still not sure if I'm getting an advantage the CPU doesn't get. However CPU starters and backups must get some XP... because their ratings go up/down each season.

So now I just practice in the pre-season plus on my Bye-Week, and I skip it otherwise in an effort to be 'fair' to the CPU.

Does anyone know for sure if this is true? And is it fixed on the PS4/XboxOne?
