Stuck between levels, again.

I always seem to fall in this trap with certain sports games and football games are one of them. I usually play the game on the second highest difficulty setting, in this case All-Pro because I feel like the highest level is unrealistic and simply gives the CPU attribute and ratings advantages.

However, right now on All-Pro I've reached a level where I'm beating the CPU too regularly and it is not uncommon for me to put up 50+ points in a game. I'd love to see more varied scores and a more challenging game but when I put the game on All-Madden it's just plain ridiculous.

I hate messing around with sliders and don't want to catch a case of slideritis. But at the same time I don't know how long I'll be able to maintain my interest in this game if I can't find a good balance. Turning the minutes down for each quarter is not an option for me as I'm big on realistic stats and want realistic number of plays each game.

Are any of you guys getting varied scores and finding a good challenge on this game that delivers a good balance? I really wish we had the ability to play offense and defense on different levels. I feel like it would be perfect for me to play offense on All-Madden and defense on All-Pro.

same here man. All-Pro has become too easy but All-Madden is a joke. My opponent scores at will on all madden and I throw 5 picks a game

I'm just going to try and basically nerf my offensive sliders (not intending this to become a slider topic or I'd have posted it there). I like how the game plays (on defense) on All-Pro but like you said, the CPU can't be stopped on All-Madden.

The description of All-Madden scares me away from giving it a legitimate stop. It says something to the effect of, "On All-Madden the CPU is nearly impossible to stop." No thanks on that one.

The lowest scoring game I've had so far was 22-16. It seems every game turns into an offensive showcase which is frustrating.

I usually supersim defense and just play offense (on All-Madden). you can get some pretty good realistic scores like this. thats only if you dont mind not playing defense that is
