Where did the pass trajectories go?

I'm really hating the lack of pass trajectories. It's very evident on corner routes and even though I know the trajectories are messed up, I still throw the route out of extinct when I see the safety playing way inside and not over top and the linebacker is trying to drift. In real life a ball could easily be placed over the linebacker and into the hands of the receiver.

In Madden though if you lob it the Safety has time to get over there and if you bullet pass it the linebacker picks it off. It's very annoying.

Pass trajectories have always been, and continue to be, horrendous in this series.

The passing game as a whole, probably more so than any other aspect of the game, save player movement, is something that has never remotely been a strong suit of theirs. And that's being extremely polite.
