    EA's Consistency Logic....

Has anyone taken a look at their team players consistency ratings??

I was just browsing through my Bengals roster and noticed near all the players were 1 star consistency. At first I believed this was EA's sloppy and lazy way of representing the Bengals at times, poor play (even though we all know it's just Andy Dalton's lack of consistency), to then find that actually quite a lot of players around the league have 1 star consistency.

    Some real head scratchers too.....

    Peterson - 3 star
    JJ Watt - 1 star
    Joe Haden - 1 star
    Richard Sherman - 1 star
    Lesean McCoy - 3 star
    Jairus Byrd - 1 star
    Aldon Smith - 1 star
    Robert Quinn - 1 star
    Dez Bryant - 1 star
    Leon Hall - 2 stars

The list goes on..... These players are without doubt some of the best players week in and week out! Am I misunderstanding something? Or is this yet another confusing fault that EA just fail to address??

From what I understand, it determines how regularly a player plays true to their ratings..... I think.

I don't have the actual ratings to hand, but if we use Peyton Manning and Andy Dalton as examples.

With Peyton being a 5 star in consistency, he will almost always play with his passing ratings at say... 90, 94, 90 (SAC,MAC,DAC)

While Andy Dalton has 1 star consistency, so even though his ratings might say something like... 85, 75, 70, his ratings have a higher chance of dropping in a game as he is much less consistent. So you are more likely to come across games where he throws very poorly.

I could be completely wrong though. Nobody really knows when it comes to the logic behind EA's work...

I fixed this by editing all position players rated 85 + with accurate Confidence and consistency ratings.

Based off 25's roster from late-November.
