So I lost the Superbowl last night...

So I played Superbowl 50 last night...my 49ers vs Broncos.

Game was a blowout 52-21 win to the 49ers with Lattimore having a stat line of 29 ATT, 177 yards, 4TD.

You would think that will give him the Superbowl MVP award...no Von Miller wins it with 18 tackles and 1 INT.

The cherry on the cake is...not only do Miller win the MVP award, he and the Broncos stand on the podium celebrating with the Lombardi trophy as if they won?? hahahaha

That's messed up. That happened to me in a regular season game. Terrelle Pryor had like 1TD 308 yards passing and 2TD rushing for 65yards and they gave MVP to the other teams MLB that had to fumble recoveries and like 9 tackles lol.

The bold was reported before; I think around the game's release. Pretty messed up for being "next gen" that they couldn't even get this right...

Yep. It doesn't happen every time though. I tried to reproduce it a couple of times but the right team celebrated with the trophy each time.

What I'd like to know is whether the news feed reports the right team winning I.e. is it just the cutscene that's wrong or does the game really award the championship to the wrong team when this glitch occurs.

Other than coach stats, there's no championship to "award". Previous seasons/super bowls aren't tracked, aren't talked about.

Happened to me, too. I beat the Packers with the Steelers in low scoring game in the snow in New York for the Super Bowl in year 1. Even though I won like 20-7 the Pack had a pick-6 and that player was awarded MVP for some reason. The Packers also celebrated and got the trophy etc. Put a damper on my first year and winning it all.

I guess we can somewhat conclude that the SB celebration cut scenes are tied to whoever gets the MVP (Which EA tends to get wrong most of the time).

This is why we sometimes get the wrong team celebrating....

ADVICE: Win the SB by a blowout without throwing any pics or fumbling :P
