I see what your saying and agree to an extent. My point beyond this is simple. I don't care who or what is on the cover. All I want is a better game.

And it goes onto this. They ask for fan votes for in my opinion a useless piece of cover art. Yet they don't ask for fans opinions on features and improvements.

Why not start a feature/improvement vote which starts Week 1 of the football season, so it can be done and development can start in late September. Granted I don't know when the development needs to start and if it's sooner than that move the vote up.

Just a thought, but I do see how there is no direct correlation between the two.

'They' aren't the same thing though in that context. Madden cover vote is run by a PR firm, at a glance 2012 and 2013 was done by Fleishman Hillard. Don't really have issue with the rest though, hoping communication in general improves during and after the cycle for the title.

I agree communication definitely needs to improve. I'm actually jealous of the hardcore The Show fans and the communication lines they have with their developers.

Same here I feel the same way about a lot of devs out there that are really trying to make their product better by reaching out listening to their customers. I am so sick of the shape madden is now, its not even funny, game would be a blast if they forced things on the community until people learned to shapen up and enjoy the game.

With EA's recent track record, no news is definitely bad news. Look at NBA Live 2014... They released essentially nothing about that game until 2 weeks before release, and look at the mess that it was.

^ At least telling us nothing is better than baiting and switching again. But I'm sure they will pull some classic EA marketing BS before the release. I expect this next Madden to be just as stale as, if not more stale than the one before.
