Update verification question

On next-gen, how do I know whether my Madden was updated? In the past, Xbox would tell you and seek permission.

Now I'm not sure with Xbox One, especially with the Instant-On feature.

I have the same question for PS4. Don't know if it was downloaded.

For X1 it will say "Game Installing" where the "Insert Disc" or "Play Game" square is at as Soon as u put in the game. They do not prompt you like 360. If your not paying attention you won't even notice.

There's going to be an update for the X1
Sometime this week that will fix it so we will be prompt to download the updates
