Ties

Is it just me or are there too many simulated ties?

We've had back-to-back seasons with a tie in the real NFL, but usually you get about one every five years or so. Seems like I get 2-3 per season in my franchise, which takes away from the realism a bit. And then, to make matters worse, they're not computed right in the standings.

I never noticed there being too many. But the standings thing is frustrating. It's a pet peeve of mine.

What I do is keep a backup save the 2nd to last week of my franchise. If I finish with a tie that will make me either make or miss the post-season, I will reload the previous save and force myself to loose or win depending on the outcome I want. This way at least, I can reproduce what would happen in real life.

Hopefully someday EA will fix it, but don't hold your breath.
