Legend Rosters

How exactly do you go about having legends on rosters? Can you only do this upon starting CFM, or is there a way to access these legends outside of that?

I'm not talking about using the Madden 25 team or the Canton Greats; I mean being able to see them through the roster management screen.

i believe you have to download a roster with them before you start an CF , and then you upload the roster on madden, then go to start a CF and select custom roster i think , and it should use that one you uploaded to be using in madden. i do not think once you start a CF that you can use it, only at the start , with a roster thats been edited previously. been a while since i did it, so my directions may not be 100% worded right but thats the concept.

But I'm trying to figure out how one gets those legends on rosters in the first place.
