So with the matchup/coach stick showing height, I wonder if it actually matters this year? I never felt like height was a huge deal in Madden.

The WR warping to just grab the pass in that Halftime Video was atrocious. The camera angle to show it is equally "head-scratching." If EA knows these problems still plague this series, and if they continue to use these unrealistic camera angles, why not just add in some far away, low-to-the-grass/pylon angle from the endzone that really shows off the graphics (entire field, stadium, and grass lol) on those long TD passes? They should add it in with hopes that the warping wouldn't be such an eye sore

That was my feeling on this too. Great concept, but only if those attributes mean something. If my WR is 6-5 and the CB in man coverage is 6-0 and their jumping stat is equal which cancels that out the jumping stat. I want to be able to throw 9s (fade) to my WR all day long until the defense adjusts and brings a safety over top

With respect to the graphics...its amazing how Vic Lugo on one of the interviews for madden 25 said the graphics wouldn't get too much better than from what we saw on next gen last year...then another developer basically admitted that it was a port

lol what happened? How the graphics get so much better?

Which leads this to Tiburon needing to add "signature" catches for certain players and positions to make them standout. I'd like to be able to just throw it up to megatron under the right circumstances and see him make this spectacular catch that only players like him could make. It's not cheese if it happens in real life right? Lol.

I also think EA needs separate catch animations for receivers and defenders. So many times I've seen a defender make an interception and turn up field because it's the same animation they use for receivers.

I thought 15 would be the second true next gen title but it's really the first for this series. 16 will be that 2nd next gen title and it needs to not only blow us away it needs to become the new standard for simulation football. We should never have these conversations we've been having again. It's time and Rex and Cam need to deliver.
Fair enough, but you are moving the goalposts from the bright red line you drew last year. You also argued long and hard with anyone last year who said 25 was a port.

I don't mind anyone changing their minds with evidence, that's healthy. But it would be a lot more honest of you to admit you're making a change, that you were wrong about 15 being "it," if only out of respect to the people who said last year that 15 may represent progress, but there was too much to clean up for "one more year" to be the rallying cry (again).

I think that's probably still true for next year, which you seem now to be saying is the new bright red line for delivery. You're taking a rhetorical victory lap when you say people are coming around to where you were last year. It's a lot more convenient to cast yourself as the prohetic sage than to admit you were wrong in your vociferous argument that 15 would have to be "the one", or abandon the game.

In the end, I don't care one way or another. It's not about "gotcha" so much as it is about, c'mon man, stop blowing smoke! You're an advocate for the game and the dev team. So what? Own it! This place needs that side of the spectrum.

adjust your Roughing the Kicker slider to 63+. You will see gang tackling and multiple collisions.
