That's interesting because I disagree here. I actually think the footplanting in Madden 25 is the best footplanting I've seen in a football game. One of the big issues with madden prior was that you could catch a pass on a crossing route and instantly turn upfield, even in the opposite direction at times, completely avoiding any pursuit by the defense. This leads to a plethora of big plays every game. Of all things I could complain about that are still wrong with Madden's gameplay, the new footplanting is not one of them.
