The amount you stretch with Madden is a joke, man. Tone it back a bit.

True Step is a gimmick.

Even if you disagree (hint: You're wrong, it's still a half-baked idea that isn't for every player in the game) saying "There haven't been any gimmicks for a year!!!!111!1" is more than telling.

Yes, GameFlow is still in the game.

If I remember correctly, GameFlow play call suggestions are augmented by the data that's fed to the rest of the play calling interface, with respect to play success rate and yardage gained.

We need to find out if the QB cadences have been expanded on as well.

You would think EA would be all over the "Omaha" train. It was everywhere last year.

Sorry but True Step is not a gimmick smh. It's a core aspect of simulation football. A gimmick is when you add something to the game on top of core fundamentals just to try to sell it to the masses. Examples of gimmicks would be vision cones, hit stick, gameflow, etc...Although you do have a point in why hasn't there been any mention of True Step being added to all 22 players on the field?

Just watched Simfballcritic's new video with the Packers and the Patriots, living worlds has improved. Sidelines were hype with interception, and then a couple plays afterwards.

It's already been said from the news that it looks like it's not on the field for all 22 players. No idea if that's true.

Also, it is a gimmick for them. If it was this core aspect to simulation football (in which, I agree movement is - not necessarily 'True Step') they wouldn't have to give it a flashy [read as: gimmicky] name and announce that "HEY WE HAS TRUE STEP."

That's like me saying "QB Cone isn't a gimmick. The QB Vision and ability to look off safeties/see more of the field" for the exact same reasons is true. QB Vision and simulating that is a core aspect of "simulation football".

Yet, the QB Cone implementation (and 'back of the box feature') was a gimmick - just as their "True Step" is a gimmick. Especially when it doesn't apply to the entirety of the players.
