Re: Official Madden 15 E3 Video Thread

I am worried about these new pass rush button prompts. From the IGN game play, each time the player did the button prompt he disengaged and got past the offensive lineman. The result was 3 straight sacks on that first drive.... two were by the controlling player. Is it really as simple as just timing your button press? Is there no counter? For the first time in madden history the d-line may be OP. I don't want to jump to conclusions with such a limited sample. Enjoyed a lot of what I saw otherwise. The presentation was amazing. Look forward to seeing more.

Looks next gen finally! few flaws tho

1. still see small db's big hitting te's
2. players watching while one person makes a tackle
3. i saw a lot of the same tackles from last couple games

My guess is that they were on rookie.

Harder difficult should make buttons have less time to press them and depending on the defenders ratings, it'll determine the disengage percentage.

Offense, you could see slight improvement. Especially in the catch. The Crabtree catch for example was in full stride and looked perfect.

It's your opinion, but just don't see how one could form that after the short ign video where you could easily see improvements (maybe not major)
Don't get me wrong, the presentation is stellar, the new camera angles (especially the defensive angle) was very impressive. All the components around the actual game play is an A+. But once the ball is snapped... ewww.

Man.

I am not gonna get Go Go Gadget Hyped just yet, but I really thought that looked good. I know the animations just suck, flat out, but hopefully the sliders work this year so we can tune some nice gameplay.
