Yes I am reading between the lines a bit, because all the info is not out.

But I have seen these "lines" from EA for years, I dont think I am stretching on what I think they again wont be including in their CCM.

And as much as I am stretching what is known, I am also under saying all of the other things that I see happen in Franchises that should be fixed.

Do not buy Madden 15 if you play "Franchise"
(yes, I still call it Franchise!)

As far as I have gathered, this is the rundown .....

No new Roster abilities... No Practice Squad's, no formation sub packages from menu system, nothing new.

No New Equip... Nothing new in this department, all screen shots showing the same stuff... (even one of EA's highest rated players cant get the right equip! not to mention EA's cover boy)

No Draft Class imports/ Draft Class editing.. The no imports is expected, but Not Including Editing In This Build Seems "Fill in the Blank".

So I can just play M25 to play Franchise, what am I missing by not playing Madden 15 ???? ... the new defensive stuff ???

That new stuff they have touted so far will mean nothing to me when....

I see all of the Goofy names in my first years Draft Class.

When I see every WR I scout is 6-2 200+ lbs, because almost every WR is that size in the draft !

When I find my first (of many to come) Rookies with a shaved head picture on my roster, wearing Dreads on the field !

When I finally see all of the ratings of the Rookies and how far out of wack they are from how the Default roster is built !!!

When I have to go in and remove every players tiny Hand warmer after I draft them.

When I spend a bunch of time editing all of my players Equip.... just to load up a game and see "it" decided they should wear something else ! ? !

....... So why even buy M15, I can get just as frustrated playing Franchise in M25, but now I got an extra $60 to buy the new controller I smashed when all of the above things happen every time I try to play a Franchise !!!
I would wait until they release some CFM info before making a decision. According to Clint we should be getting CFM info in a few weeks.

Re: Was/has there been any franchise info released?

Alright guys I will give you what the CFM info will probably be.

1. We are talking about practice.
Practice mode has been redone. Instead of putting your whole team through practice where everyone gains XP you now choose X number of drills to run and the guys you run it with receive XP and maybe even a xp bonus for that week's game. They will try to sell it as "working and developing specific players." Basically check out 2k's development drills.

2. Presentation that makes Madden more immersive than it ever has been.
Vague comments about situational commentary that adds to the experience. The blog will say something like "commentators remember what happened last week" and that will translate in game to something like "They threw for over 300 yards last week." Whereas last year it would say that and then an awkward pause would follow, now Phil Sims will say "they hope to keep that up this week" and then the awkward pause will follow. Blog will also mention new cameras and all that and how it adds to the experience of playing on the road.

3. Generic comments about improved player management and logic.Instead of teams keeping 4 80+ RBs on the roster there will now be numerous 80+ RB free agents while a few teams will trot out a 72ovr rookie.

4. Improved draft classes. They have tuned the ratings where instead of seeing corners with 72 agility and 88 strength it will now be 72 agility and 64 strength but 88 break tackle. And look for more realistic names such as Joe Fontana and Bulldozer McGee.

5. We've added advanced stat tracking! You asked for it, we give it to you. Now you can look and see who lead the NFL in jersey sales in previous seasons!

Make sure to preorder Madden right now.

I was trying to hold it in but bulldozer Mcgee forced an actual laugh. Hilarious, man I hope you're wrong though.

Have it presented by Mel Kiper with his big board. It would go something like

1.Tommy Suarez- WR Missouri
2.Jim Bryant- DE Tennessee
3.Derrick Chang- QB Washington
4.Mike Harris- LT Rutgers
5.Alex McDonald- QB Grambling
...and so on and so on....

These guys are randomly selected to be highlighted by the live feed tweets and all that crap.

But before the season starts, you can go in and maually change the players in Mel Kipers Big Board to reflect something more realistic by changing:
Tommy Suarez to Amari Cooper
Jim Bryant to Randy Gregory
Derrick Chang to Marcus Marriota
Alex McDonald to Jameis Winston
This way, they can still be used for the tweets and all that garbage, but it would use real prospects instead.

Just to dig deeper into it, from there, you can go into editing ratings, apperances, and all that.
Because it must be so hard to do, I mean its not like Madden 07 didn't have the big board already. It must be such a big step to install it at the beginning of the season. I'm no fan of Kiper, but That setup was way better than what they have now.

At the begining of each season in madden, it always used to ask if you would like to import your draft class from NCAA. Clearly that is no longer an option. I used to love playing Dynasty Mode in NCAA specifically to create real recruits, watch them go to whatever team, have a nice career, and then graduate or leave for the draft so I could later look at drafting them to my team in my madden dynasty.

With it no longer being an option, I feel like there are a few ways EA could go about getting draft classes that mean something back to Madden. However, I feel like there might be an even easier way for the fans to make their own realistic draft classes.

Remember when EA had the specific team builder website for NCAA? It was a nice fix to not having FCS schools in the game, and it allowed for us to create old teams and random teams like Blue Mountain State. It was easy and fun to use. I think Madden needs to do something along these lines for a create a team (but that is for another time), but more importantly, allow us to create draft classes.

Imagine how easy and cool it would be to start with a random draft class template that would be presented the same way the free agency in madden is. That way you can flip through by positions, and organize it based on overall ranking, speed, strength and all of that.
The website would have roughly 300 random generated players that you could manually go in and edit each prospect, or just a couple of the big names.
Granted not everyone would want to do the work for that, but it would be used the same way roster sharing on NCAA would be used. If someone made all 300 players to the exact detail and shared it with the entire Madden community, think of how much more in depth people would get with their draft.

With the 300 players, and only 256 draft picks, that would leave more than enough room for (drum roll)..... undrafted free-agents!

Some of the things that would be editable could be:
Profile Picture- If your guy has dreads, and is represnted by a bald guy, what is the point? Put a real picture as if they were already in the game
Bio- Change the name, age, college, hometown
Appearance-Height, weight, size, build, skin color, hair, equipment
Ratings- Pretty black and white. Edit the players ratings to what you feel most closely ressembles that player.

I have accepted that this feature probably wont be in Madden 15, but all I can do is hope that EA has something planned like this planned for down the road.
Did you forget who you are asking this from? If they knew that simple could be better, every game on the PS3/360 wouldn't suck. They have to "improve" everything by taking away the good stuff and replacing it with negatives

Re: Was/has there been any franchise info released?

With bulldozer McGee his brother will be in the next draft class with a storyline like

" brother of bulldozer McGee, CB cherrypicker McGee hopes to break NCAA int record.

"Cherrypicker breaks hand and his out for 4 weeks"

"Cherrypicker comes back from injury and has 4 picks against Oregon"

"Cherrypicker finishes season with 12 ints after missing 4 games."

C.McGee flashes his 40 time at combine with 4.29!"

Cherrypicker lights up the draft board as projected #1 ovr. Could he be the best cb prospect ever?

After the draft his ovr is 62 with and inj rating of 49. Toughness of 12 , man and zone cvg 56,69. Agi 78, acc 84,SPD 83 with a 92 strength. And doesn't start a single game after being cut in preseason due to ovr rating and he dissapeared from free agency after 1 year because his ovr dropped to 57 after a year of free agency and no one signs him

So far it appears as if I am off to a good start.
