I think the players on the sideline are the actual players on the roster. The skin color and numbers are correct. However, they have little detail and no equipment. The sidelines aren't perfect but they are a lot better.

No it's not better. Go look at all pro football 2k8 the sidelines react like they watching a game. They even hold players up when they run on the sidelines. Madden sidelines just have random players at random spots not even wearing the proper accessories. Yal trying so hard to give madden credit lol not workin -
