Precision modifier gone? Yes/no?

Does anyone know if the precision modifier button is still there? I was praying to the video game gods that they would scrap this similar to the instant scrap of the infamous vision cone. I actually liked the vision cone and thought it was an interesting addition to gameplay. That precision modifier garbage button, however, has GOT TO GO! Anyone know if it's gone? And, if u know it's still in, is it still overpowered or does it feel more balanced? And, have they removed the spin move from the right stick? Nothing is more aggravating than trying a sweet double juke left, right, only to have your RB start freaking out and spinning backwards 10 yards!! Lol. Anyone know anything about precision modifier this year?

Not sure on the first part, but god I hope they moved the spin to online a face button. I have blown so many runs with big potential by spinning instead of juking when i tried

Lol. I know. I almost like the idea they had with double jukes, juke to spin move, etc. it could've opened up a lot of interesting moves, but in the end, I think that may be too hard to implement. The stick is just too sensitive or not sensitive enough and accidental spins occurred way too frequently for me.

Here's the answer

@ClintOldenburg: @jpdavis1982 yes it's still in. Tuned how? We fixed some broken things.

Thanks for the response. It's not a game killer for me, for sure. If they tighten up some things, I'm "ok" with it. I use a similar feature if Fifa, and absolutely love the 3 levels of control in that game. But, for football, as things are happening so fast, the 3 levels of control just don't flow for me. And, I'd rather see the 3 levels of control be: 1. Right Shoulder button (hold ball, avoid fumbles) - this slows the runner down and allows for more precise cuts (precision modifier is now addition to this, I suppose, but for me, it just makes more sense to just allow slightly different movement with Cover the Ball button to add that 3rd level of speed/control). 2. Normal speed, no extra buttons. This allows for freedom of movement, more speed, and jukes/special moves should work depending on a player's ratings more here (as opposed to using the precision modifier). 3. Sprint - trying to accelerate as fast as possible, jukes/special moves are harder to pull off, however, if pulled off at the right time, they should take you out of sprint and be effective in their own right.
Anyways, those are my thoughts on it, and was seriously hoping this was the type of "one and done" implementations madden has done in the past, similar to vision cone. But, I hope they implement this better this year. Less overpowered and tighten up how the right stick works with jukes and/or spins and/or simply take spins OFF of the right stick.

Thanks.

It better still be in. I am not a fan of it but the last thing I want to see in Madden is a feature to be removed the year after it was a back of the box feature.

Lol. It's happened before, like I said, the dreaded vision cone was only in for a year.

Exactly and the current team has stated that those days are gone. But if this was to happen again it would make me seriously question the direction and focus of EA.
