I don't know, because endorsements?

Yeah it is possible that EA is paying him to say this just because it will make them look like their playbooks are so legit and accurate compared to the real life playbooks that teams use because an NFL player is using them to improve his skills. Maybe this will make more people buy the game because they heard of this

He can't be using it for anything.

Playbooks are several inches thick and grow every week.

Not a single virtual player in Madden moves or thinks like an NFL player.

Bridgewater was interviewed enough to recognize he's not stupid enough to think Madden can teach him anything about football.

He'd do better with mental reps.

He uses Madden as much as Shaq drives his Buick LaCrosse.

The title is just an exaggeration of a loose connection of learning the playbook and mentioning Madden in the article. Bridgewater exaggerated, but he's just doing everything he can to get ready to start his NFL career.

I know football and humor go together like oil and water, but that sounds a lot like Bridgewater making a joke.

EA keeps trying to project to the public that Madden can and is teaching people about football. I think it's pretty irresponsible. Learning football from Madden can only hurt a person's growth in football knowledge.
