The 80 new hours of commentary is interesting.

hmmm they spent 80 hrs and most on players names? so basically there gonna say same lines just now instead of saying #2 or rookie it will say like johnny manziel??? hopefully they cut down on saying the same lines getting repeated during the game cause that got old in 25.


that's one main reason's I play madden with either tv low or muted cause got tired of hearing sims talking about going for it on 4th down etc or hearing him talk about his former te all game long.

It's definitely not easy to create video game commentary. I think NBA2K has the best, and even that gets old.

You can play madden for 2 quarters and hear the same lines over and over again. It's horrendous. I remember they told us in M12 they were working on some new and awesome commentary tech. Somehow it just never happened.

I think the 80 hours includes having nantz re - read some lines from last year. I read somewhere from e3 that he recorded lines over so it sounded better. Add in new last year specific lines and players names then whatever is left was for new audio. Just listening to the few videos of 15 I saw it seems a lot of the same dialog is in from 25.

I don't expect the halftime show to be much different than what we saw. My guess they will highlights from your game (person lighting up your league) and the stats at the bottom (which only showed top qb/rb is the fantasy aspect.

I could be mistaken, but wasn't there a discussion like 5 years ago (around the lead in for Madden 2010) that said there was a new (at THAT time) technology for stitching together more realistic sounding in-game play-by-play? It was something that took pronounced syllables from the voice actor and then stitched them into words...iirc, it was really impressive in the clips available at the time.
