It's a tech issue because the system is not setup to use two different styles of font for the numbers on the front/back/shoulders.

This showed with the Vikings uniforms last year. The development work to allow all three set of numbers to be different fonts seems like it would take too much time for very low return value. Plus all the regression testing to be done to make sure the independent fonts don't cause crazy uniform glitching. Not worth it in my eyes if I was the project manager for this.

Still doesn't mean we don't want to get it in.

I have been bitching to everybody from EA for years about all the errors with the Jags. I was talking to a wall trying to get things changed through them. I wrote the guy that is in charge of the Jags digital side of things and asked him to get ahold of somebody at EA or the league and get things fixed. He asked me to give him a list of errors along with pics comparing the game to real life. I emailed him the list and he got renders of the helmet and all the stadium art/upgrades and sent it to EA. He said EA has been really apologetic about everything and said they were working on getting everything in for this upcoming Madden. Thats the full story. @TSHARE18 @digitaljag on twitter if you want to find the convos about it. Fingers crossed they finally fix all the errors.

Jaguars and Bills stadium renovations were pretty much confirmed in an article around the time of E3 by the San Jose Mercury News:

When it comes to the environments, EA Tiburon worked with teams to make sure that each stadium looks up-to-date. In addition to Levi’s Stadium, Jacksonville’s EverBank Field will have the upgraded Jumbotrons while they’re going to have the expansion for the Bills venue.
Seriously hope this is the case. As I said in that thread, it's better for Madden if the lower-ranked teams get the same attention as the usual suspects.

EA has been using the wrong end zones for the past 2 years and the wrong wall art for at least 3 years for the Jaguars. I have complained every year and every year it is we are aware and will fix it next year. They added the new scoreboards but none of the other stadium renovations are in. The just put the scoreboards on top of seats that don't exist. I had to ask the team to complain to EA. Now EA is all of a sudden sorry and working on fixing everything. Im not holding my breathe.

What's so difficult about fixing the 49ers pants color, since we're on the topic of "getting things in"? This is a "tech issue" too? It must be since it's been wrong since... it's never been right. :/

Our attendance really isn't that bad and we haven't had a blackout in several years. Nice try at a cheap shot though
