Continue as long as they keep the exclusive rights. In my opinion Madden has failed to develop a brand that even the most hard core fan will be loyal too. Madden's worst nightmare is that other developer getting an opportunity. You know what would please me? Competition.

It should please everybody, but the NFL has an exclusive business model. I think I just read an article somewhere within the last 48 hrs that the NFL and NLPA have good working relationships with EA.

Hard to break those relationships up after a decade.

I'm not saying that I believe the relationship will ever end, merely that it never should have existed. Madden's sales can never be used as an indication of "pleased" fans for obvious reasons.

I think ur giving those gamers/casual core not enough credit..once the graphics "wear" off..I'm pretty sure they would notice the issues..what's funny is my belief is hardcore Football gamers are the one's that can't turn Madden down..cause they need the "fix"

I'm not sure about that. Look, I'm a sports gamer who played NFL 2k5 for 3 straight years and I notice the things that are missing.....I just dont care as much as you guys do. WR/DB interaction in the 2k games looks great but I really dont remember noticing the lack of it in Madden until i started spending time here and noticing the complaints.

I guess my point is I think casuals who played 2k would notice the differences but I dont think they care. Madden looks enough like football for most.

I don't know about anyone else, but that is just gross to me. "Enough like football. " Why can't it just look like football?

Its gross to most hardcore fans but not casual fans. It looks like football...it just doesnt look like an exact replication of NFL football.
