It's not cgi I don't think, I saw Desean Jackson do something similar in one of the E3 videos.

Since I've never paid attention to things like this, what exactly does the head-tap in the picture signify? Acknowledgement of an audible / hot route?

That's the good part about this team they are about feed back. During the PS4 release of madden Clint Odinburg had a live stream game play and I mentioned to him that as a receiver myself the one thing that always bugs me about madden is that Wide outs always have the wrong foot placement on the line and he said he would look into it. Lone and behold they changed it.

Now we need multiple stances and different route running style.

And a tap on the head usually means acknowledgement of audible on a hot route

How can the Overall score be lower than any of all the other scores?

Shouldn't it be an average? (or a weighted average?)

Neutral answer: There are other attributes not shown that impact overall.

Trollerific answer: As usual EA cuts corners. Awareness will be in the 50's and that nerfs his overall. Typical laziness.

Pro-Madden answer: The highlighted attributes are physical attributes only. The technical ratings are not listed and as he is a rookie and somewhat raw these ratings are lower. The team rates rookies in a realistic way where they are gifted but raw. This team gets it!

My question is how is his OVR an 80 when his LOWEST att. is 88. :/ (I understand that there's more atts to players; but those on the pic are the top atts that factor for a WR) And top atts play a HUGE role in OVR.

My guess is his AWR is probably really low, and his Route Running and Catch In Traffic could be in the 70s.

His Production rating is also going to be 0, which will lower his OVR
