What i mean is that a player has one great year, and all of the sudden EA gives that player a 90+ rating, and then the next couple of years that player doesnt play as well, but they still somehow maintain that 90+ rating in madden. Washed up veterans are another example of this. What i meant is that if a player consistently dominates in the NFL, then they deserve a high rating every year but if they are a one hit wonder, they should lose that high rating if they dont play well the next couple of years. EA is known for inflating player ratings. I think all of these ratings are a little too high, not just Quinn's

I think the issue here is Madden grouped the 3-4 and 4-3 DE together as if they do the same thing. Same issue with Defensive Tackles. Madden groups 3-4 NT and 4-3 DT in the same group. Like you can't stick Gerald McCoy as a 3-4 NT it just doesn't work. A 4-3 DT would kick out to a DE in a 3-4, ala Haloti Ngata. A 4-3 DE converts to a OLB in a 3-4.

It's time for Madden to seperate the schemes so it's more realistic.
Just wait until the LB ratings come out, and you see Keuchly, Willis and a bunch of pass rushers. They definitely need to do a better job of differentiating positions
