Re: EA Access Available Now on Xbox One (No Longer Limited Beta)

Hopefully someone has the answer to this.

So when we download Madden 15 is it just a sample of the game for a short period of time during those few days? 2 hours, 6 hours or unlimited playtime?

Also what's the date/time that the download starts? I remember with EA season ticket it was on Friday morning before release.

Thanks in advance

Full game, no MUT. Not likely to have a limit, other than the 5 days.

That's the million dollar question. Here's an article from "Totalxbox" touching on it.

http://www.totalxbox.com/80160/ea-ac...s-ea-explains/

More details on Xbox One exclusive game subscription platform EA Access have surfaced by way of EA's support site. Among other things, the page explores how EA Access trials differ to regular game demos. In brief: you'll get to download the entire game ahead of release, rather than just a bitten-off, bleeding hunk of it.

.... at least for now. I suspect that if Sony continues getting negative feedback from PS4 owners about opting out of the deal, they may reverse their decision. I'm betting they come around within the next few months and jump on board as well.

As for now, I'm an XB1 owner and bought in to the deal yesterday. So far downloaded M25, BF4, and FIFA last night. Those will keep me occupied until M15 on the 21st! And NHL15 coming up in a month.

The vault games (BF4, FIFA14, Peggle 2, Madden 25) that come with EA Access were enough to sell me, especially once EA stated games will not be removed, only added, to the vault.

I got $24 for my BF4 disc, so its $6 for my year of EA Access. I would have gladly paid $6 just for upgrading BF4 to digital. No disc swapping is a pleasure.

I downloaded FIFA 14 and Peggle 2, both of which I'd never owned. I think I'll pass on Madden 25, since I'll be able to play Madden 15 next week.

The vault is a great way for new XB1 owners to get an "instant game collection" for $30. Microsoft should put out a bundle with this while its still exclusive to XB1
