Yeah they added some things, but they also have a TON of animations from the past 8 years.

They don't catch a lot of things. That is the issue. I asked clint a few months ago if we could play cold weather games in play now (non-snow) and he said you've always been able to.

..I then had to remind him that you haven't been able to since maybe 2009.

I mean I understand that the game is very vast.. especially when you are developing.. but they aren't aware of some of the 'smaller' issues that have plagued the game for years.

Not that it matters a ton... but they have to be the only sports game that hasn't updated their equipment (gloves, cleats) in years.

I agree. I posted something about this regarding the cold weather inappropriate clothing, and canned huddles where the starting QB is always in the huddle despite him not being in the game despite thousands of hours of games played by devs during the cycle. Maybe you just get disoriented due to sustained exposure to the game. Might help them bring in some fresh eyes near the end of the dev cycle to pick out visual problems.

They did add new equipment this year, Seahawks cleats, and I think Chargers, but for the most part not much was.

Not Cleat colors.. actual cleat models. They still have nike vapor cleats from 2008 in the game. Still don't understand why they don't have the nike team gloves in the game either

I think it just leads to them wanting to get the game done and out the door, which leads to some lazy design decisions and cutting corners. There's no other way to explain some of this stuff.
