And if walking over and changing a disc is that big a problem, maybe it's time for a Zumba class.
I gave a good reason which everyone has ignored thus far: Playstation TV

Good point. Personally, if I can contribute to the demise of Gamestop by purchasing my games digitally, I'm happy to do it. I really don't like their business model, and I can't imagine that game companies do either.

i remember him telling me that it was a promotion of a promotion. I will ask him again to clarify since I could be wrong. I just recall him being under the $60

Even with the 10% you save...Xbox/PS is saving so much more.
I understand the convenience and I never trade in either, but just the fact that I am saving them even more money by going digital is a bit irritating.

I know they have to make money, but take off like 25% and that will intrigue me enough.

They save on packaging, shipping, all those taxes along the way....not to mention that all they need is one game file on a server (more for high availability in case one goes down along with the load of having countless people download from it)

then they have another server giving out a special key with each download of the game file. Meet me halfway in the savings and I will go full digital. Or allow selling of the digital games to a community. So you just transfer the license to someone else.

Re: Digital or Disk?

I was leaning toward disk until I read through this thread. I have an Xbox One and EA Access and 3 little girls that love playing with my game disks. I'm going with digital since I'll already have it downloaded, I missed the best buy trade in special, and I haven't traded in or sold a game in 5 years.

The Best Buy trade-in special is running through the 23rd of the month. I just traded mine in yesterday. It ran in last weeks ad but it is indeed still active in their system through the 23rd. Good Luck.
