I'm going digital. The option to preload it on Sunday is a plus and don't have to worry bout going out at midnight to get the game or pay taxes.

Re: Digital or Disk?

There is zero reason for me to go digital. Unless there is something drastic changes, I see no reason for me to switch to digital. Plus being a GCU member at Best buy, I get the game for $12, plus $10 back in Reward Certs for preordering. I traded in a game yesterday that is 4 months old and got $35 for it, I only spent $52. To many advantages going disk still.

I'm "all disk all the way" until they give me reason not to be.

What is this best buy sitch that everyone keeps referring too? I know about trading in lat years madden, but how do you take advantage of all these other advantages that bb is offering? Is it similar to the gamestop system?

Re: Digital or Disk?

Going to Steam has made me go pretty much all digital even on console now. Pre-loading and just ease of turning a console on and having your game there is rather magical. If I can find a good deal in-store or can get the game sent to me for a deal then cool, but trading in doesn't do enough to dissuade me from just grabbing a digital copy.

It's crazy the different opinions. The ease of not having to put a disk in vs the advantage of trading in a game 5 months later and get half back is a no brainer for me.

I guess those who don't trade in games, it's pointless.
