There is preloading on the Xbox One version if you have EA Access.

If you have to download and install the game, I am better off to wait till Tuesday. It will take a whole day to do all of that.

Disk, I took advantage of Gamestop's trade in offer where you get 40% more credit if you trade towards Madden 15 plus I like the excitement of unwrapping the case for the first time. Switching disks isn't a problem for me since I keep all my games in a CD wallet but the PS4 pre-dowloading thing is something I may look at in the future and I did digitally download Madden 13.

Re: Digital or Disk?

Mine is preordered and it will be preloaded. My reason primarily for going digital is because of Playstation TV.

Re: Digital or Disk?

I think I'm definitely going digital this year, I broke my ankle 2 weeks ago so I can't go to Gamestop to pick it up. Plus I think Madden is one of those games that would be cool to have on the HD, not having to get up and change disks when you feel like playing some football.

Re: Digital or Disk?

I may go digital, I did with Maden 25. Trade in isn't an issue for me as I never trade in football games. I have every football game I've ever bought going back to the sega genesis. I know I'll be playing this a lot so I'll probably go digital, and since I'm taking the day off it will be nice to wake up and have it waiting for me. Think I just talked myself into it.

Re: Digital or Disk?

The only way to predownload the game is if you do the EA access. I have not seen anything about being able to predownload it if you buy it digitally. And i think i have decided not to do the EA Access because i dont want EA to have any more of my money. I will just go get it at midnight, come home and install it, go to bed, and hopefully when i get up it will be installed.

Re: Digital or Disk?

Some good points on the digital download, especially the wear and tear of disks on systems and the wear and tear of kids on discs. My young son has already ruined a disc. Fortunately it was for a game I didn't play much. But not having to worry about storage or handling is nice.

I'm too old to stay up till midnight to play the game, so if I can DL and install it while I sleep and have it ready to rock Tuesday morning, that's perfect for me.

I have The Show on digital and I have zero problems with that.
