I would think they would have to pay for it separately to get access to it. But that is an interesting question.

Well that's a given, I'm surprised you even asked.

Re: What time limits would make you happy with Ea Access?

yeah, i voted for 12. I think everyone gets caught up thinking 24 hours because that's a whole "day" or something. And, I can be a pretty hardcore gamer, so when Madden comes out, I'll play the h3ll out of it on the weekend. But, in reality, even if i play the h3ll out of it, that may wind up only being 10-12 hours over the weekend as there are other things to do. So, idk, this definitely varies per person, and the only choice that would satisfy everyone is unlimited, but realistically, 12 hours is enough time to play 6-10 games (depending on your qtr length), and play with the skills trainer for a couple hours. That gives u some early ideas of the game and whatnot. Overall, I would still argue that technically, Madden/EA has nothing to lose by giving unlimited time on Madden as an overwhelming majority will already have pre-ordered the game and most people are going to want to play more than 5 days in the end, so this service would be a pay to play early, which is legit enough of an offer. But, as it turned out to be a "pay to play for 6 hours", it's still weak. And, yes, I've heard all the args about ea access being all about the Vault. But, that being said, offering the early access and denying unlimited time to it still feels like EA missed out on satisfying a lot of fans, and more than likely NOT losing any extra sales that an unlimited 5 day trial would've given people. So, for me, 12 hours is probably good enough, but I still believe for Madden, and really all sports games, that offer this early access should be unlimited timewise.

We have to consider the EA Access in context. I do agree that a sports game deserves at least 12 hours of play. There is a lot going on that 6 hours doesn't quite compliment.

However, when non sports titles come out, and the campaign is 8 hours, what do they do then? You could have people finishing a game before it releases. So, there has to be a limit. It's reasonable. I do think they should give sports game more than 6 hours.

Would prefer 24 hours over 5 days, would probably only use 10-12 at best.
