Controller preference for madden

No they don't - they're designed to be utilized with a rolling action (YouTube it).

This reason and many others are why I prefer sony's offering (especially the analog resistance).

I have always like Sony's controllers because I feel they fit better in my hand and are just more comfortable to hold but it's really a very subjective question.

I prefer the Sony controller over the Xbox controller...however, I prefer the Xbox controller for Madden better

Yeah, like Sheba stated, it is very subjective.

For me I prefer the layout of the Xbox One sticks rather than the PS4, especially for a FPS'er. It just molds to my hands more comfortably than the PS4 and its stick placement. The only thing I don't really like about the Xbox One's controller are the right and left bumpers, they are a bit stiffer compared to the Xbox 360's controller. Maybe I just need to break it in more. I chose the Xbox One due to the controller though, but I imagine controller preference is different for many people.

I was an xbox 360 controller guy and it was the best, but I switched to ps4 for this generation. An I have to say the controller is fine once you get used to it.

I have big hands so I definitely prefer xone controller. I also us kontrol freeks and they feel much better on my xone pad than my ps4. Don't get me wrong sony made their pad a little bigger for current gen but it feels more natural for me on xone.

The PS4 has a nice controller, but the XBOX controller feels better and the vibration seems more accurate on cross-platform games.

Both are nice though.

For Madden and FPS there is nothing better then the XB1 controller regardless of how much the DS4 has improved which it has

The sticks do not compare IMO and having off angle sticks makes a world of a difference to me

I feel in games like BF4 my movement and precision is better with the XB1 controller and in madden even more.

The sticks are the biggest difference to me as the XB1 feels more natural

Moving the trigger to bumper and vice versa was the most requested features over at battlelog.

I remember when the XBOX first came out. The controller was ratchet and I wouldn't budget off the PS controller.

Now things are different.

I slightly prefer the Xbox One controller, but it's really close for me this generation. One thing that bugs me about the PS4 controller is the "Options" button. I really hate the way it feels when you push it.

I'm honestly still not sure which system I'm getting it for on Tuesday.

I was in the exact same boat regarding system...when I found a store that had it early they only had xb1 left...desicion made haha

I am Xbox 360 player and tried the controller for ps4 and its too small for my hands. I prefer Xbox one, the feel of it makes it perfect
