IR Return Help

Hi Guys,

In my second pre-season game Kirk Cousins broke his collarbone and will be out 6 weeks---- I tried to put him on IR with designation to return, but it would only give me the option to put him on IR for the season... I saved the game and tried to see if I could mark him eligible to Return, but under "Return" it read "NO" and had no option for me to change this.... Is there a certain criteria that must be met to do so? Does it have to be in the regular season?

Is there PUP in Madden?

If not, a team who wishes to bring a player back that player must be "designated for return" at the same time they are put on IR after the 53-man roster cut.

that option never has been in Madden neither has PUP..... come on give EA a break it only took them 15 years to allow us to have more then 2 players on IR

they've brought IR with designation to return this year, but it doesn't work in the same way it does in the NFL.

as far as i remember, from seeing the cfm livestream, you can place one player on IR and then take him off it at any point during the season. the 6-week rule doesn't apply.

Have they fixed IR in the pre-season? M25, if you IR someone in the pre-season, it still counted against your roster and you had to cut an extra player just before going to the regular season and hope they were still there in free agency to resign them.

As far as I could tell, IR worked correctly during the regular season.

It's not officially called "IR designated-to-return" in the game, but you do have the ability to bring back one player form Injured Reserve this year in this manner.

Can somebody walk me through exactly how to IR and then bring them back?

Cousins has a broken collar bone so when I IR'd him it warned me he would be done for the year--- when I accepted under the Return column, it said "NO" when I "button mashed -- it never allowed me to bring back cousins,or designate him fron NO to YES in return even though it was the same week--- do I need to wait until his injury is healed? The regular season?
