No quick cut with RB?

Is there no quick cut step left or right with Rb's. I want to find my holes and cutback with my rb, but it seems like the running back just runs where the designed plays are headed? Anyone know if I'm just missing something?

This. The physics have changed a bit it seems. Try laying off the speed burst before you make a cut.

I noticed the players, especially when running, feel like they have a bit more weight and momentum to them.. which can feel like they are less responsive, but try cutting before speed bursting.

That's the thing I haven't been using speed burst... but they explode out of their stance and I can't ever use an open cutback lane. I miss the quick step

What speed are playing on?

I would suggest playing on slow or even very slow??

Very slow is too slow IMO. I use slow.
Anyways I can use the RS side step left/right just fine. (Just 1 way..if you go L/R or R/L it's a juke.)

I've had the opposite problem actually. Though it is probably the difficulty level, as I'm playing some of the challenges in ultimate team.

My back is Bishop Shankey, currently, when I change directions to hit a hole he cuts so hard I miss the hole in the opposite direction. I think you can use the right stick for the old left-right juke moves too...

Are you using the Left Stick to try and make quick cuts?

This year it appears they finally introduced a realistic running experience. No longer can you run full speed then cut on a dime to hit a hole. Running with Trent Richardson is going to be a North/South experience. I'm not shaking anybody with him.

Bottom line: there will be a learning curve with running the football this year.

This ^^ is the best way to cut! try the RS in the direction you want to cut...

What does the precision modifier do? I've only played quick games and haven't done skills trainer yet.

Holding the precision modifier & just using the left stick slows u down a bit, makes it easier to cut
