Using the Texans

So I'm using the Texans in a connected franchise. Me and 9 of my friends are taking the 10 worst teams in the game and seeing what we can do with them. The Texans have no QB, who can I acquire and turn into a potential franchise QB for me? The guy running the Bills gave up a 2nd and 3rd RD pick for Aaron Murray, so he would be off the table.

Go grab Ryan Mallett. Should be good enough to start with.

Matt Barkley, Josh Freeman, Ryan Mallett, Christian Ponder, Matt McGloin, Tyrod Taylor, Kirk Cousins, Terrelle Pryor, Zach Mettenberger, AJ McCarron, Dominique Davis, Blaine Gabbert (LOL), Tajh Boyd, Kellen Moore.

That's all I got, at least for younger guys.

If you want a serviceable starter that won't be your franchise QB, I'd go:

Brian Hoyer, Chase Daniel, Matt Moore, Mark Sanchez, Chad Henne, Matt Flynn, Colt McCoy.

Only one of those guys is 30 or older, but they just don't have any potential left in them.

I got Kirk Cousins for a 2nd rounder

I'm using Logan Thomas, and for the horrible OVR he has, he is an absolute stud. 94 THP, like 84ish SPD and stuff, so if you want the ultimate development project, he's got what you can't really buy. For me, he's playing way better than what the game says he should, though. He's like 50-66 OVR depending on your scheme, like the 3rd QB for the Cards, so he may actually be a FA by the end of the Preseason if not easy to trade for.

I plan on starting Fitzpatrick this year, but he will be my backup next season. I acquired Mallet for a 2nd RD pick.

Just started a single team online CFM with the Texans. Traded Arian Foster and a 3rd string FS to Atlanta for a 1st round pick. Gives me the 23rd and 25th pick in the draft. Might trade the 25th and my 2nd round to move up. Hoping to find my franchise QB in next years draft. Picked up Kendall Hunter in FA to tied me over for now.

What would you have to give up to get Manziel from Cleveland? Lol

As an Aggie from Houston, this was my priority #1.

You should also check out Terrelle Pryor for a young athletic QB with a strong arm. Assuming you could get him for fairly cheap.
