CFM - Years 2015 and 2016 Draft picks

How come teams inherit 2014 draft positions for 2015 and 2016 seasons? and i can freely trade them in year 1?

Is this a known issue?

Not complaining because I took the browns and now have 2 1st rounders for the next 2 franchise years.

They don't really inherit the draft positions. The system is just programmed to show what it think the pick number will be. So if you trade with a team at the beginning of the year, it might say the Browns have pick number one, but if they finish the year in the middle of the pack, but it will actually be around 15.

Im bit confused. As soon as i started the franchise, i went to trade and i was able to trade both 2015 and 2016 Round1 pick 8 (which browns got in trade for moving down) and i also was able to trade pick 22 for both years

Right, you can trade future year picks for the next two drafts. All I am trying to say is that while the game says that you are trading for pick number 123, for example, what you are really trading for is the Jets fourth round pick, for example. You won't actually know what number the pic is until that season is complete.

i get all that. But why should the Browns own two 1st round draft picks for years 2015 and 2016? it should have been for 2014 only and those players are already in the game (gilbert and manziel.)

Uh, you can trade future picks just like in real life. They shouldn't have had 2014 picks since they used them, on Manziel and Gilbert like they said. You could only then trade the picks you have for '15, and '16 like in real life. The position is just a projection. Every team owns a first round every year (and in rounds 2-7) by default unless you trade it.

etc

All i am saying is in years 2015 and 2016, Browns should only have ONE draft pick in round 1. As it stands now, i just traded away picks owned by other teams than.

The Browns have two first round picks in 2015. We got it from the Bills. If they have another pick in 16 in the CFM then they must've made a trade or there is an error. I haven't experience that in the numerous CFMs I have done testing in so far.
