I really don't know why they can't enable name editing at least. That's just plain bizarre, but whatever. Fixing that is none of my business so I'm going to sit here and sip this tea...

Really angry about that. everything about this years game has been good so far....then BAM....nope you don't get what u ask for. Honestly I am questioning whether or not to bring it back seeing as I have draft classes premade till 2017 draft for m25.

You can't edit named. What you can edit is position (in offseason only unless going from LT to RT etc), number, college and equipment.

Really angry about that. everything about this years game has been good so far....then BAM....nope you don't get what u ask for. Honestly I am questioning whether or not to bring it back seeing as I have draft classes premade till 2017 draft for m25.

If you have pre-made classes till 2017, aren't you using a lot of randomly created players for 2017 anyways except for the few players that redshirted in 2013? The random draft classes are very good this year, you should give them a chance, also the gameplay is night and day difference from 25.

I can't believe you would sacrifice gameplay and features for having named draft classes for a couple more seasons. Seems odd.

To each their own on this one. I never understood the whole debate either, NCAA classes were good for 3-4 seasons after that it was all random players anyways.

i play every game in ncaa, so i know the players on my team and i know the good players and Heisman candidate for the other teams. so when i draft i would remember who this guys where, how good they are, what team they play, etc. etc...

I am tracking what your saying about night and day gameplay.... Its legit.

As for me having classes into the future. They are not perfect. They are just a "who to look for thing". I'll have generally accurate " projections" for this year until the 3rd draft. then next redshirt freshman. And the top 50 high school players being touted by colleges. (Anyone remember an old sports illustrated that had 16yrd old Shawn Alexander in it for a "faces in the crowd" for tearing it up in high school

I agree that they they are only good for 4 yrs or so. BUT what if say in year 12 I want to change my qbs name from Dede McGee to poopoo mcgoo....I can't! Its just ability to have it that bothers me. I rocked madden 12 until 25 came out for a reason.

I do not know if this is possible or not.

If enough ppl (no clue amount what it'd take) were to blow up EA or looman or effin john madden himself with complaints about editing, that they'd just put it out as a patch.?.

I read on this site that (different thread) it was m12 they patched it in due to complaints of not being able to edit. (If it was m12 it must have been patched before I got it because I don't remember not being able to edit in that game.)

You do realize John Madden himself has very little to do with the game features?

With all the legal things that happened in 2013 with likenesses and such, I don't foresee this feature coming back any time soon. All it would take would be one person to create a likeness of one college kid in an NFL licensed game and it would be lawsuit city.
