I really don't think you have to set them for all 32 teams. The game you're playing is using your auto sub settings so I believe it affects both teams. I actually see the CPU running back sub out more than the users.

What do you have for other positions? Are you getting D-line substitutions as well?

Mines work in both Play now and CFM.

For QB and OL - I have 0/3 because those positions never sub.

For everything else I have 30/35 - My reasoning behind this is backups play naturally at CB (because of the Nickel and Dime formations), TE (because of double TE formations) and WR (because of multiple WR formations). S rarely ever sub anyway.

My biggest issue is finding the right balance for D-Line and LB. If you set fatigue and auto subs too high, you will end up with disappearing players in the 4th. Too low and they never sub out. I'm thinking about trying something in the 50-70 range.

Re: Auto sub's not working on cfm?

FYI, just tested my sliders in CFM again with the Bills. I ran the ball 10 straight times. Spiller (the starter) ran 6 times. Jackson (the backup) ran 3. Brown (3rd string) ran 1 time.

I cant guarantee that RBs will never disappear in the fourth using these sliders but I havent seen it. Leveon Bell ran 26 times against me last time and never disappeared but if you run a RB 30 plus times its still a possibility.

This is an excellent description of the problem I had last year. Too high and players dissappear, too low and you don't get the right backup reps.
My primary concern was just HB's, DT's and LE's and RE's. Since as you mentioned other positions either play 99% of snaps or sub naturally through formations.

So to deal with it I just manually subbed those positions to avoid the dissappearing while getting backups some snaps.

I would sub in my backup RE in the 2nd quarter and my backup LE in the 3rd. This meant my starting RE and LE were only playin together the 1st and 4th quarter. I would give my backup RB the whole 3rd and only bring the starter back if I wasn't up a lot. Sometime I would manually sub my receiving RB for passing plays.

I did it all through the depth chart. Doing it manually worked best in the end.

I'm having this problem as well. Fatigue at 60. I think I have subs at 77-76 and don't see any subs. Ben Tate is red and still in the huddle. Same thing with outside linebackers as well
