Sound FX and sound system

I'm playing on xbox 1 and I have it hooked up to a sound system. For some reason there is an annoying sound effect that keeps playing over and over. It looks like a collision sound effect but it sounds like someone banging on an empty paint can.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Yes !!! I play with my 7.1 hooked to my PS4 and I keep hearing it too. Too me it sounds like someone hitting one of those Island drums banging everytime players collide like in a tackle.

You know, this may actually be a thing.

There was another poster who posted about this issue, and at the time I posted that I had the issue on the trial on my Xbox 1 (which is hooked up to surround sound) but NOT on retail PS4 (which is not).

There may be a bug in the way the game handles audio on surround sound systems that is causing this sound.

I think if everyone was hearing this we would see a lot more people complaining. This gives me hope because maybe I wont hear it if I turn off my sound system and just use my T.V. audio.

I have heard it too but I thought it was the sound of a tackle. I usually hear it when there is a pile up as the sound continues as the screen changes. I do not hear it on every play usually just the tackles with a lot of bodies coming in.

A gong sound? I heard it too but I have only played one game. I just got a ps4 today!!
