Qb breaking to many tackles?

Man, I just haven't seen the broken tackles by QBs you have, yet.

But I have seen the QB do a little side step as I was about to lay him out, only to whiff on the tackle. I thought that was a nice touch, this was in the same game against Tony Romo, by the way. lol

Happens two or three times a game for me. I play with the Panthers. Nick Foles shouldn't be shrugging off Star Lotulelei multiple times a game.

Maybe it's entirely different mechanic that allows for QBs to break/shrug off tackles, but maybe upping the tackle slider would help? Just a thought.

Could be the difference between user control of the DL and CPU control of the DL. Do you user control when sacking the QB? I don't and I see a TON of QB's tackle breaking form my CPU controlled DL.

Peyton Manning eludes would be tacklers like he is Jamaal Charles without any user input on my part.

I user control the RDE, and I've also had my defenders make plenty of sacks.. as usual, sometimes too many, but I really haven't seen any or many broken tackles, stiff arms, or shrugging off of the defenders. The case is usually the QB takes a sack.

I believe I've seen this happen twice now though. The one where I was user controlling the DE on Tony Romo and he "slipped" out of the tackle, and another where I saw one defender get tipped over the back of the QB, basically. I might just need to play more games. The Ram's defensive line is pretty good (in-game and probably best in real life), so maybe it comes down to the tackling attributes affecting this, or not? I'm not sure. I just haven't seen too many.

And Peyton Manning shouldn't be throwing off any tackles or stiff-arms, really. lol..

See, that would be frustrating. Usually his best defense against the rush his is quick release, not morphing into Jamaal Charles. lol

Unless I'm misunderstanding the concept of the thread I don't believe anyone is talking about breaking tackles or stiff arming out of the. But the little QB elude animation where they shrug off tacklers like you referenced.
