Learning defensive adjustments

Is there an easy way to learn defensive adjustments? Offense seems to have a lot of tutorials and you can always go into practice mode with offense only.

Defensively you don't get much time to pick a play let alone make an adjustment. Was just wondering if there's a best practice for going about learning them so that I can make calls faster.

Re: Learning defensive adjustments

OK, how about this.

Does anyone have a list of controls for defensive adjustments? I found a PDF file for the game manual but it only lists the top level controls like secondary audible, linebacker, etc...

I'm looking for a list of controls as you dig down into each one of those.

Re: Learning defensive adjustments

If you're talking about the defensive hot routes for individual defenders, up on the right stick is man coverage, right on the right stick is bluff blitz, down on the right stick is blitz, left on the right stick is qb spy, up on the left stick is deep zone, right on the left stick is curl to flat zone, down on the left stick is hook zone, and left on the left stick is flat zone

That definitely helps for individual control.

I'm also looking to learn the controls for the secondary, linebackers and linemen as well as the defensive keys.

It's boggling to me how anyone is supposed to be able to learn all of this without being able to explore it. Just being able to control the snap in practice mode would be amazing.

If you have 2 controllers you can go into practice and mess around with the defense adjustments.

Re: Learning defensive adjustments

I don't have two controllers, not sure if the $50 investment is worth it for this.

I did however manage to get some pictures of the controls for each defensive adjustment. I'll post them up here in a bit for those interested.

Re: Learning defensive adjustments

Are you not able to practice in the solo game modes for MUT? Or you could do play now games and practice there? I have been playing around in both these game modes and have been able to experiment without any problems. Good luck!
