Online CFM XP Issue?

Just noticed my XP points needed to upgrade defense have gone up quite a bit. For example, it is going to cost me 9,000 XP points to upgrade a CB from 89 - 90 zone coverage. Another one is 7,2000 points from 87-88 on man coverage. Is this normal? Seems pretty high to me.

I wonder if this was part of the tuning update yesterday? I had no problem improving some other items before, but now they are very expensive.

Based on the age of the player increasing some of their key stats will be extremely hard.

The point is to focus on developing younger players because it's easier to teach them.

Does it make sense for a 20 year-old rookie CB to need 7200 XP to go from 87 to 88 for man coverage? That just seems like a lot to me.

7200? That's fairly easy to get using game prep and one solid pre season game.

It doesn't seem that crazy to me.

Last year we could make scrubs into studs super easy. I don't mind that being changed

In my opinion, a CB with 89 zone coverage and 87 man coverage is very good. It should be difficult to get them into the 90+ range. If they are young I would focus on other attributes such as press coverage, awareness, play recognition, and tackling, make them a better all around CB.

What kind of stats do you get in a preseason game?!

If you pay attention to weekly goals you can get some really good XP. It's why pre season games actually matter.

For a CB that is a bit more hard, but it's still not impossible. And you're talking about raising a key rating for the position to an even higher level than it already is. High 80s is really good.

Thanks for the feedback. To me, it seems that man and zone coverage XP points cost a lot more than almost any other attributes.

Yeah I am tracking with the weekly goals and all that, I was just impressed with the 7000xp in one week for a CB, or so I thought lol.

For DBs the price is triple what it used to be.

If you look at zone coverage for LBs, its still the OLD Xp amount.

So something definitely changed with the latest tuner/roster.

Zone/Man Cost 3 or 4 times as much for Defensive Backs.

When you get upper 80's you starting to enter elite territory for that skill...shouldn't it be difficult to improve?

Now if you said 82 to 83...then yea that's a bit much.
